  Add a type of structure/variant that has power already running through it. Add copper as a requirement to build. You might need to add "outlet" pieces where you can put a cable connector so you don't have to re-do the whole power system.

  Another option would be a toggle to display the wires on or off. This would effectively hide the wires if you don't want to see them except working on them.

  You can technically already do that: place a bed on the edge of the island (half way through the wall). Sleep in the bed at night, if the bed is placed correctly, you will wake up in the island. Then you can do kinda whatever (like place roof platform and place your cable management on top)

  Yes, please let us hide the cables!! We can already hide the cables for some lighting maybe there can be a device that will hide all cables? Possibly crafted with Diamonds to make it a top tier item?
