Upgradeable Airships
Maybe Upgrades for the Airship, like speed upgrade, a Kompass for finding islands during storm, or an Item Trunk/chest for Storing items during Exploration and so on.

Add modifications and/or upgrades to Airships, like a storage mod/ add more seats (able to carry passengers) / Increased speed mod / Maneuverability mod. Just a few examples, there could also be a limit to the amount of mods that can be attached to the Airship which makes the player chose their preferred ones. -

PenstemmonA radar in the center of the yoke that has a small dot where you have placed a map marker and your dock. A pet bed so your pet can travel with you (if pets are implamented.)

AzgocazoAlso add to this, a compass, not for finding an island, but to show which direction you are flying. For example, you are going from the starter island and going to the island to the northwest; with a compass, you can simply follow the compass in the northwest instead of having to open the map every few seconds to make sure you are flying in the right direction.
