A button in the inventory to move items from the inventory directly to nearby chests (if you already have the item stored)

It's already there. Its the arrow in the bottom right.

In this case, it would be a specific button to store items without needing to open the chest; being near the chest and pressing a key, the items go directly to the adjacent chests.

That specific feature exists. I use it often with my storage room. When you are NEAR chest with items in it, open your inventory and press the upward arrow. This will put items in the nearby chests that have same items in it.

There is a catch. They won't add to partial stacks, so there needs to be an empty slot. You'll have to use to sort button inside each chest to actually merge the stacks.

It also won't pull from the hotbar. Only the actual inventory.
